The Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense is a Privately Funded Entity Established in 2014 to Comprehensively Assess the State of U.S. Biodefense Efforts and Issue Recommendations that Foster Change.

Through public meetings with subject matter and government experts in Washington DC and throughout the Nation, the Commission identifies systemic vulnerabilities in national biodefense. We made 33 recommendations to strengthen the country’s ability to defend against biological threats in our 2015 report, A National Blueprint for Biodefense: Leadership and Major Reform Needed to Optimize Efforts. Since then, we have released several more reports containing additional recommendations. The Commission continues to examine biodefense in light of current events like COVID-19, while maintaining a long-term emphasis on reducing catastrophic risk to the Nation.

Your donation will help the Commission continue its work. Tax receipts will be provided by Hudson Institute, the Commission’s fiscal sponsor.
